A new direction

New Floor Plan

The new floor plan was inspired by a computer motherboard. Many of the shapes in the plan parallel between the two. A Juice bar and Buffet style dining area was added. The food court will be open to all users of the space. Dining space will likely be located in the lobby area at the rear of the building.
Lighting Focus-Office
My lighting focus for the new office space is the tunnel. Again, I am drawing inspiration from a computer circuit board. LED lights will trace down the walls and cut-outs will be used to reference the lines and shapes of a circuit board. The image shown above should give you an idea of how this might develop.

Lighting Focus-Retail Section
For the retail section, I will be using B&N Industries from their Cable and Rod Collection.

Reflected ceiling plans

A rigid, linear layout is used to complement the rectilinear forms of the office plan. Light fixtures were chosen to mimic the forms of the desks and tournament rooms on the mezzanine level.  flexible track lighting allows for an organic lighting layout under the Mezzanine level following that of the the office systems furniture chosen from the resolve system by herman miller.

One of My Pastimes

I like to paint as well as design.  This is a picture I painted for my friend, Amanda, as a wedding gift.  Pedro the frog... Acrylic on wood And here is another project which will be a New Orleans scene when it is finished.  This picture is not the most recent.  I will post another when I finish.
