Circulation and Blocking Diagram Update

Designing the space

The retail portion of my project is located at the entrance of the building. upon entering the store, you first experience a long display table. To the right of the table is an intimate area set up for tournament competitions. Just behind this area are the bulk of our retail displays. The counter against the rear wall (most likely a graphic wall) will have monitors for gameplay and to complete the experience is a circular checkout counter, which will be my lighting focus for this section. The counter will be lit from the inside giving it a glowing effect.  The classroom space should be conducive to this particular learning style. I propose the 360 degree classroom to accommodate an optimal number of students. The instructor stands at the center of the classroom. There are drop down screens on every wall so that no matter where in the room students sit, there is always a clear view. Students will be placed at tables, which are set up for laptop use. Every part of the room is economized.
This site gives an overview of the LETC building in it's current condition. Here is an image of the atrium space located at the entrance of the building. There are three levels total.  Here is an image of the receptionist's desk Right now the building houses companies working with the campus to develop new scientific breakthroughs.

Block diagram with circulation paths

I am going to be moving things around a bit, but here is what I have so far: the purple spaces are classrooms or offices, dark green represents breakout spaces (each break out space is on the upper level, there are offices below), the red represents open workspaces such as tables or desks, the aqua represents kitchen/artist library area, light green is the lounge space, yellow represents conference areas (large and small), and lastly the orange represents teacher offices. the back of the building will be used for docking and emergency exits only. The public will enter through the front. I am considering reorienting the offices so that they are against the back wall, making the lounge the focal point upon entering the office.
